• Reassessing investment in rural electrification programmes in developing countries
• The purpose of this study is to highlight the obstacles and challenges of rural electrification in developing countries. Specifically, the role of rural electrification in rural development assistance programmes is analysed. The topic is discussed from the perspective of rural electrification experiences from both the donor and private investor perspectives.
